Morelia spilota harrisoni

It´s one of the smallest carpet pythons.

Usually between 140-160 cm large, however rarely more than 180cm.

The papuan carpet python does not excist in Australia like the other Representatives of the Morelia spilota complex but exclusive on the island of New Guinea.

It has high variety of color and examination forms which makes him look partly very spectacular.

This is the most soil-inhabiting of its kind, however this does not mean he doesn´t like or does climbing.

They are held best at the temperature of 26-28 degrees general, locally 35° degree.

At night the temperature can fall to 22°-24° degrees.

It has to be paid attention to increased air humidity.

The hatchlings should generally kept individual in small tanks and when eating independent, they don´t make problems in attitude and raising.

My animals have all a strong red/orange hue which makes them very attractive.
